Canada Immigration And Citizenship
The process of Canadian citizenship and immigration begins with an application form. This application is needed for Canada immigration (Permanent Resident) visa. For the convenience of applicants, several categories of Canadian immigration are available to choose from. Information on immigration and citizenship are updated on a regular basis. The time duration of immigration process vary from individual to individual because of several categories of immigration. One can find different application procedure on official websites but the time frame given there are historical in nature.
One can apply for immigration and citizenship under categories of Business Class Immigration, Federal Skilled Worker, Family Sponsorship category, Provincial Nomination or Quebec Immigration. If the applicant has already found a work in Canada, the process of immigration will be relatively fast.
While applying for immigration, the applicant needs to be aware of various qualification criteria. It will be also useful to know that immigration visas or permanent resident visas are provided to only qualified skilled workers, close family members of Canadian citizens, provincial nominees and business persons. If one is also applying for spouse or common law partner or children, their names must be mentioned in the application. All the dependent children must be below the age of 22. If children are above 22, they must be full time students. All the dependents will have to go through security and medical clearance requirements. The applicant should also maintain uniformity while applying and after the submitting application forms.
Once the applicant has been granted permanent resident status, he or she can sponsor names of other family members including names of parents. Initially the name of parents cannot be included in the application. Once granted the citizenship status, the rights are equal to all other citizens. It will be useful to note that different provinces have got different rights in matters related to citizenship and immigration.
