Canada

Canada is second-largest country in world after Russia. Ottawa is country’s capital. Canada is a vibrant city with numerous cultures and multi-religious layers. Interestingly, aboriginals of Canada are the only original residents of this country. People from hundreds of countries come to Canada every year in search of better life and better living. Ottawa is situated on the tip of Ontario. More than 90 percent of the population of the country resides within 160 km of the USA border.

Canada is known for prosperity and peace. The country is rich and has several economic miracles to its name. Apart from prosperity, Canada is also known for security. Compared to its neighbors, it’s a much safer country to reside in.

Country is also less populated in terms of size and number of people residing. Total population is in range of 33 million. Canadians people speak mainly two languages; English and French. For becoming a citizen, one must know either of the two languages. Apart from these two languages, aborigines have their own languages. People from different parts of the world who settle here speak their own languages.

Canada is truly a cosmopolitan place with Catholic and Protestant comprising majority of the population. Because of influx of immigrants, different religions also exist there, though in minority. The Canadian government is a Constitutional Monarchy. Canada is also unique in the sense of having different time zones in the various parts of the country.

The country has several provinces; majority of them joined the constitutional monarchy in 19th century. The working currency is Canadian dollar. Country has important places like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver etc. All of them are famous for 24/7 business activity. These are major economic hubs worldwide. Canada has always taken lead in environmental causes and is also the member of prestigious G-8 countries. It has also organized Olympics games.
